Destroying the Umbrella Corporation was a huge mistake in my opinion. Umbrella was one of the, if not THE best villains in fiction. They were simply evil, pure and simple.

The fact that Resident Evil 4 won with 59% of the vote to Resident Evil 2's 17% is evidence that the mass public has a short memory and that gamers as a group are young.
Resident Evil 2 was a PS1 game that released in 1998. If you were 13-20 years old then, you are 24-31 years old now, which I suspect is quite a bit older than the average IGN user.
If you are old enough to have played them all you probably agree that RE2 is the best one.

I think the author here misses a vital point. Namely that immediately upon hearing that the game would release on 360, people predicted that the game-play graphics would not be up to the quality that we had seen in the trailers up to that point. I know because I was one of them.

Nothing I have seen makes me think that the graphics in RE5 will be as good as the graphics in Killzone 2.
Nevertheless, because it is the next Resident Evil, I am going to buy it on day one.

Having a partner, especially a real live human being, playing the game with you makes it the complete opposite of what made Resident Evil great. Resident Evil games isolate the player and force the player to constantly search for ammunition and keys, etc. ...

Sony needs to cut as much as they can out of the initial purchase to allow people to "pay and play" for as little as possible. The thing is they can't take any more things away from the "out of the box purchase." All you get now is the PS3, the power cord, one controller and one charge USB charge cord.

The fact of the matter is that PS3 owners going to be made to wait a year longer then they would had to if SquareEnix had not made their deal with Microsoft.
The PS3 US/Euro version will be completed a year before the PS3 version.
These companies should give us more credit than they do. This is clearly PR spin that does not give us anymore information than we already had. We should all take notice that saying that they release date has yet to be decided does not mean that the game will release in the US and Europe BEFORE April 2010.

I was already using my PS3 to watch youtube videos before I saw this. So I hop onto www.youtube.com/tv and see that it looks like crap. It is some overly simple interface. I guess it was made with the Wii in mind. If you have a PS3 you should stick to the traditional www.youtube.com.
